Each year on the 2nd Saturday in October Nashville's Germantown hosts more than 200,000 people at their annual Oktoberfest celebration that honors beer-drinking and merrymaking of the traditional autumn festival held in Munich, Germany. This street fair offers free activities along with some great beer, wine, entertainment and kids activities.
Oktoberfest is Nashville’s oldest-running festival & has been an annual tradition since 1980. It is also Nashville's largest city festival and the 2nd largest Oktoberfest in the USA!
In 2016, the festival welcomed 235,000 visitors over the 3 day event, which spans more than 9 city blocks in the downtown of Nashville.
