James K. Polk Home & Museum

Visit the Tennessee home of our 11th US President James K Polk, just south on Nashville in Columbia Tennessee. Guests to the James K. Polk Home and Museum enjoy a 30-minute guided tour of the main house and see the rest of the site on their own including the Sisters’ House visitor center, the detached kitchen, the gardens, and Polk Presidential Hall exhibition center.

The James K. Polk Home and Museum is located at 301 W. 7th Street in downtown Columbia, TN.

Free parking is available in the lot across 7th Street or along High Street on the east side of the main house.
