Walk of Fame Park

The Music City Walk of Fame on Nashville's Music Mile is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music who have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration and made a significant contribution to the music industry with connection to Music City.

The Walk of Fame is a gem in the heart of downtown Music City. Open 24 hours a day, the Walk of Fame recognizes artists and music industry professionals that have made their legendary endowment to the life of music - of every genre - across the world - but always with a connection to Music City. The stage was set with the very first induction class that included Felice & Boudleaux Bryant, one of the first full-time songwriting teams in Nashville; Reba McEntire, a country music legend for four decades; Fisk Jubilee Singers, a student a cappella ensemble of more than 140 years; Ronnie Milsap, a country-soul hitmaker; Roy Orbison, one of the most distinctive voices in popular music; and Maestro Kenneth Schermerhorn, the Nashville Symphony music director and conductor for 22 years. That tradition of music trailblazers of every sound has continued through the last 10 years of inductions with stars like Dolly Parton, Jimi Hendrix, Frances Preston, Emmylou Harris, Hank Williams Sr., Elvis Presley, Manuel, Michael McDonald, Little Richard, CeCe Winans, Mike Curb, Tootsie Bess, Peter Frampton, Les Paul, and Boby Hebb.

The Music City Walk of Fame welcomes new stars at induction ceremonies held right here in the park. The newest honorees or their family (for posthumous inductions) always attend these events so we can personally present them with their new star in the Music City Walk of Fame. These special ceremonies are free and open to the public, inviting guests to experience this memorable celebration of music in Music City.

The stars on the Walk of Fame, spanning genres and generations, honor those that make, create, record, perform, and present music to and for the world. The Walk of Fame is uniquely Nashville and completely Music City.
