Dolly Parton grew up chasing butterflies in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. After her original song “Love Is Like a Butterfly” became a No. 1 country hit in 1974, she adopted the butterfly as a symbol of beauty and gentleness. Guests can decorate their own butterfly that can flap its wings and fly. Presented in support of the exhibition Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker. (All ages)
