Harpeth Hall School
Tracing our roots back 146 years to the Ward Seminary and to Ward-Belmont Preparatory School, Harpeth Hall’s visionary educators continue to expand and adapt a challenging college preparatory, gender-based curriculum to prepare young women for the world they will lead. From 5th through 12th grades, our technology-rich, girl-centered classrooms provide our students with the 21st century skills they need to become critical thinkers, confident leaders, and effective problem solvers. Our classrooms feature hands-on, project-based and interdisciplinary learning, in which our students are engaged actively in their learning. Additionally, Harpeth Hall is a national technology leader in the independent school community. Access to technology throughout the campus facilitates learning and gives our students a powerful advantage in their educational careers and a heightened preparedness as they enter an even more competitive workforce. Additional distinctive features include a comprehensive arts program, a leadership-based service learning program, and a highly competitive athletic program. A three-week Winterim program provides opportunities for internships, international exchange, and academic travel abroad. With a tradition of excellence and a commitment to life-long learning, Harpeth Hall educates young women to think critically, to lead confidently, and to live honorably.
