The dream of Nashville-native and chef Julia Sullivan, Henrietta Red focuses on simple and fresh ingredients. Vegetable-forward dishes and a wide variety of oysters are complemented by unique natural wines and craft cocktails. With a daily cava & oyster happy hour, rotating classic cocktail selections also make their way onto the menu.
Since opening in 2017, Henrietta Red was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appetit (2017) and one of GQ’s Best New Restaurants in America (2018), and, additionally, Julia was named one of the Best Young Chefs in America by Robb Report (2018) and one of the Best New Chefs by Food & Wine (2018).
In 2018 Henrietta Red was nominated as a semifinalist for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation. In 2019, Chef Julia Sullivan was nominated as a semifinalist for Best Chef Southeast, and was a finalist for the same category for 2020.
