Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools

Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is a consolidated city-county school district, serving more than 79,000 students who reside in Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee. The school district covers 525 square miles, including the state capitol, Nashville, and surrounding cities and communities and ranks in the nation’s 50 largest school systems. As one of the state’s largest employers, MNPS has 10,200 certificated and support staff. MNPS has 144 schools serving students with programs that cultivate a dynamic atmosphere of teaching and learning, where every student is encouraged to excel.
