Tim Montana & Friends 2025 American Thread Concert
Recording artist, Tim Montana today announces his sixth annual American Thread Sporting Clays Shoot benefitting Special Ops Xcursion. The fundraiser kicks off at City Winery Nashville on Monday, September 29 with its “Tim Montana and Friends” dinner auction and concert before the shoot takes place on Tuesday, September 30th at the Nashville Gun Club. Last year's event raised more than $250,000 and this year hopes to bring the total funds raised to nearly $2 million, since its inception.
This annual event is the premier sporting clays shoot of the season at Nashville Gun Club, bringing together the local public and national celebrities to raise funds to support active-duty Special Operations Forces members and their families by providing them outdoor adventures to decompress between deployments. The kickoff concert will feature performances from Montana and a slew of surprise guests. Past years' guests included Charlie Sheen, Colbie Caillat, Michael Ray, Lee Brice, Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley, Lee Greenwood, Aaron Lewis, Tyler Farr, Travis Pastrana, Elvie Shane, Steve Cropper, Ed Roland of Collective Soul, Josh Phillips and more. Auction items include special guitars, hunting trips, tools, celebrity-signed merchandise and more.
"I look forward to this event all year and hosting for the sixth year is a real honor — it's more than a show and a shooting competition; it's a way for the community to get together and stand behind real heroes that serve and protect us," shared Tim Montana. “I'm really excited for this year's surprise lineup. Folks are in for a treat.”
The shoot on Tuesday, September 30, is an all-day event that features live music, food from The Beached Pig and Whiskey Bent BBQ, special appearances and more, with the sporting clay competition kicking off at 10am.
"We're incredibly grateful for all of Tim's efforts to pull this enormous event together and everyone who stands behind our mission in providing support and relief for those who have sacrificed so much for us," said Scott Graves, founder of Special Ops Xcursion. "I want to especially thank all of our sponsors for their generous support—we couldn't have done this without you all."
Sponsors for the event include: ColorBurst's Landscapes, Brassfield & Gorrie, Nashville Gun Club, Centurion Stone, Slow N Low, Pit Viper, Timberwolf Archery, Miller Scribante, Tomahawk Solutions, Whiskey Bent BBQ, Boswells Golf Cars, The Beached Pig, Future Shirts, Geissele and more.
