University School of Nashville
Founded in 1915 as a demonstration school for George Peabody Teachers College, University School of Nashville is a coeducational, college preparatory day school enrolling approximately 1,020 students in K-12. The diverse student body is encouraged to think critically, learn independently, and demonstrate tolerance for others. Advanced Placement, independent study, and classes at nearby Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities are available in the upper grades. The community atmosphere fosters the expectations for good judgement and citizenship. Sports, drama, music, and art enrich the program.
