Maíz de la Vida Hosts Café y Cumbia

Now extended through October, Maíz de la Vida continues to invite guests to relax over coffee, cumbia, and maybe even dance a little with their weekly rotating DJ lineup. Hosted every Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m., DJ Pablito and a rotating lineup of special guests explore the cultural and musical significance of cumbia through live sets dedicated to the genre. Alongside Maíz favorites, the menu features Honest Coffee Roasters’ French press, a specialty “dirty” horchata, and additional coffee-focused specials. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations can be made in advance through OpenTable.
