Movies Under the Giant Guitar: The Goonies

This spring, Wedgewood Houston transforms into your neighborhood open-air cinema as Movies Under the Giant Guitar returns with another three-part movie series. With warm evenings, cult classics, and food trucks rolling through, it’s the perfect way to kick off the season.

The season’s first Movies Under the Giant Guitar kicks off on Thursday, April 9 featuring The Goonies in The Outfield, the communal green space just beneath the neighborhood’s iconic guitar-shaped scoreboard.

Admission and parking are free, and all ages are welcome. Bring a blanket, grab food and drink from local vendors, and enjoy a movie under the Nashville sky. Festivities start at 6 p.m. and the screening begins at 7 p.m.
