Rodney Crowell is a legendary singer, songwriter, and performer whose career has spanned over five decades. Born in Houston, Texas, he emerged as a key figure in the outlaw country movement, blending literary storytelling with heartfelt melodies. Crowell first gained recognition as a songwriter, penning hits for Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash before launching his own successful recording career.

Crowell’s 1988 album, Diamonds & Dirt, produced five No. 1 country hits, cementing his place as a country music icon. Over the years, Crowell has continued to evolve, earning Grammy Awards, Americana Music Honors, and widespread critical acclaim.
