LiveLung, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners, invites the Nashville lung cancer community to its educational meeting, which includes a delicious complimentary lunch, on Wednesday, September 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 pm at West End UMC, 2200 West End Avenue, Room LL2, Nashville, TN 37203.
This month’s meeting will feature Anita Slaughter, a nationally recognized personal trainer with 30 years of experience helping people improve their health, strength, and quality of life through evidence-based exercise and wellness programs. Attendees will learn how they can get strong and stay strong throughout their cancer journey.

Slaughter is a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist and specializes in coaching cancer survivors before, during, and after their treatment. In addition to her coaching practice, Anita serves as President of the Survivor Fitness Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free fitness, nutrition, and wellness programs to those with cancer.

LiveLung’s educational meetings provide valuable resources and opportunities for lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners to learn, network, and build community. Each meeting features an expert guest speaker who shares insights to empower attendees with knowledge and support.
