Murfreesboro Celebration Under the Stars

Celebration Under the Stars 2026 is going to be a great event as we join America in celebrating our nation's 250th year of independence!
Great music, lots of fun and AMAZING fireworks!

Join us for Celebration Under the Stars on Saturday, July 4 at The Fountains.

This incredible event, brought to you by Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation and Middle Tennessee Electric, has quickly become one of the best places to spend your 4th of July.

Saturday, July 4
The Fountains
4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: DJ, Food Trucks, Splash Pad
7:30 pm: Live entertainment by John Foster
9 pm: Fireworks Show
Note:
For safety purposes, pets, alcoholic beverages, cooking grills and personal fireworks or sparklers are not permitted on the celebration site.

Where can I see the fireworks?
Unobstructed views can be seen up to ¼ - ½ mile. Anything beyond that depends on line of site, trees and weather conditions.

What if it rains?
We will try to move forward with fireworks as planned depending on the amount of rain. If heavy or dangerous, we will postpone and shoot when it clears or cancel as a last resort.

Where can I park?
Parking is free and is first come at the Fountains as well as directly across Medical Center Blvd in a grassy area.
